What fillings do you use?

We want your teeth to last, so we only use porcelain or composite resin in our restorations. Silver mercury fillings can expand and cause teeth to crack. The tooth-colored materials we use produce attractive, durable repairs.

Is fluoride harmful?

Fluoride prevents tooth decay by strengthening tooth structure against the acid breakdown caused by plaque. It can also help repair damage, demineralization, before decay becomes visible. Swallowing larger doses of fluoride can make people sick, but in small amounts, it is safe. Children who swallow fluoride toothpaste may develop white lines in their teeth. Most cities routinely check the fluoride in water to ensure that it stays at an acceptable level.

At what age should my kids see a dentist?

By the time children have all of their baby teeth, usually by age three and a half, they should have their first dental appointment. An early appointment exposes kids to a positive, non-threatening dental office experience. It also allows us to spot and prevent any potential oral health issues.

Dental insurance can be confusing, so let us know if you have any questions. We are a provider for Delta, Superior, and Dental Care Plus plans. For other companies, we will file out-of-network claims. Our flexible payment options include cash, check, credit card, and third-party financing through American General and CareCredit.
